Funko Pop Design : Iron Man
The following images are a quick demo of my research and creation of a Iron Man Funko Pop for Avengers Infinity War.
Funko Pop Iron Man
When I decided to create this Iron Man, it was critical to keep the design language from the previous Iron Man Funko pops. With new images from Infinity War leaking, I really wanted to put as much detail as I could into the armor. I really wanted to have the Final finish of this armor to look like High Tech Futuristic Machinery.
My first Iron Man design lacked the neck. This Armor design was influenced by previous Iron Man Funko Pops and early leaked Infinity War Armor images. I later updated my armor design with more details when the Avengers Infinity War trailer was released.
Bottom row are examples of Artwork Color Call outs for the various parts of Iron Man’s Armor. Color chips from Marvel Studios would be ideal for best color matching. I would like to look for new paint samples and techniques to make this latest Iron Man Funko pop look as advanced as Tony Stark’s new Bleeding Age Armor
An optional helmet shows the Iconic Round eyes of Funko Pops. Below, is the same Infinity War Nano Tech armor but for their Dorbz line. It required modifying the linework and minimizing details for the different product line.
